Exciting News:
Our Bowling section now has an in house caterer. Harvey’s Fine Foods headed up by Barbara Roebuck have taken residents in our Bowls kitchen and are there to meet your catering needs.
CBC Bowls Club is available for hire for private or corporate events. Our Bowls greens can be hired and a fun filled day of bowls can be enjoyed. Our hall is also available for hire. Please contact bowls chairman Anthony Rea (Cell: 0826688522 or Eemail: iti01857@mweb.co.za) for more details.
Bowls season:
The bowls season starts in July and best wishes go to the men’s sides who won promotion to the top division. The ladies’ teams also performed well last season and will surely repeat their good form in the coming season. Esme Kruger won a silver medal at the Commonwealth games in Australia and Annetjie van Rooyen won a bronze medal, as a director for a partially sighted bowler. Well done ladies, you did us proud!
